looks legit to me,

kind regards Max

Thanks Max, I was under the assumption it was fake as the numbering is a little off. Thanks for your reply.

For some reason, the clasp looks a little too short to me. Or maybe it something else... when I get home I’ll look at my planet ocean clasp and see if I notice anything.

Thank you. That will be wonderful . I have another bracelet which has this engraving but the braclet in the above picture doesn't.

Mine has an engraving too but it is a different bracelet. Is the bracelet in question supposed to have a dive extension?

It does have the dive extension as it is for seamaster professional.

I agree it looks short. The final line of text lines up with the push buttons as it should, but the overall clasp looks much shorter than it should be. The section with the text would normally take up maybe 1/3 of the length of the clasp, and it looks to be more than that here.

I've never seen an Omega clasp with the bracelet number written like it on this example, so my gut tells me it's fake.

Thanks Archer, thats what I was thinking, the bracelet number is not in the correct place. I will upload another picture with this bracelet and an original braclet, it will help solve this case.

From that point of view you may be right that its fake. Or at least a fake clasp.

kind regards Max

The bracelet numbers on the Titanium SMP models are written like that under the hinged section. But otherwise I have nothing to offer on authenticity of that particular example. Unless it’s an early rarity it’s likely a fake.

Conveniently am wearing one:

Interesting - I was looking at the steel versions, but as you noted the Ti versions don't have the engraving in the normal spot on the clasp. This is for an SMP Chronograph, so I had a look at the last 22988000 that I serviced, and luckily I have pics of the clasp, showing the same engraving as on the OP's bracelet:

He didn't mention material, so if this is a Ti bracelet (it honestly doesn't look like it is, but lighting can be tricky) then it may be legit, because the proportions of the Ti clasp are more like what is shown in the OP's. Here a view of the one I had in the shop last year for comparison:

Note that these clasps are different where the dive extension locks in, so instead of having small dimples in the metal as the steel versions do:

These have small spring loaded features that look like this:

Ankur...what is the material of this bracelet, and please show us what the dive extension looks like...

Cheers, Al

The 823 end link intrigued me. The normal full size Bond steel end link is 825 so what is this bracelet from?

quite so, my mistake. It still isn’t what a plain 20mm Bond has tho.
Ahh sorry just joined the dots, it looks like the Ti Bond.

It's for the SMP chronographs, not the 3 handers.

Apologies for being less on point than normal. This explains my slightly sloppy posting:

And here is my buddy’s very nice Bond with ghostish bezel:

@Archer thank you so much for the detailed reply. I never thought I had the titanium bracelet, frankly I don't know how to find the difference between titanium and steel.

I have taken multiple pictures of both brackets together, hopefully we can come to conclusions with these pictures

If the one in question were titanium you would notice straight away as it would be nearly half the weight of the steel one. if they are a similar weight both are steel. If you have a steel one made to the pattern of a titanium then I am leaning towards fake. Maybe the fakers reverse engineered a titanium one.

Thanks @padders I did check, it feels like both are of the same weight, but will check tonight with an actual weighing machine and reply!
