Just to say you need to be cautious out there.

There’s fake sellers (in addition to sellers of fake watches) on Chrono24, and after reporting these with explanations to Chrono24, they don’t do anything about them. :whipped:🤬

Here’s one example of ONE Ploprof sales ad, can you spot what’s wrong with it?

(I wouldn’t qualify showing three different watches in one sales ad, one even with inverted case, as a credible sales ad).

I sold and bought Watches on Chrono24, but you can never be enought careful when buying online. A shame that Chrono24 is not baning those fakers.:whipped:

Note - they did come in a version with the inverted case, which uses the same movement but a different date wheel so the date will line up properly with the 180 degree flipped case. I don't know anything about how fat or small the hands should look like, but this part I could comment about.

All these pictures are from the SAME sales ad. So which one are you buying, the inverted case one, the one with wide minute hand or the one with the strange “full lume”?

I’m not calling the watches fake, i’m calling the seller fake!

Two points:

It is always important to show care when considering a purchase, no matter which platform is being used. None of them are perfectly safe, or free of fraud.

The vast majority of people and dealers selling on Chrono24 are honest, however, it is both shameful and outrageous that the company allows individual sellers to remain anonymous. There is simply no legitimate excuse for such a policy, and I avoid doing business through their site for that reason alone.
