Morning everyone, I'm very new to watches but want to learn more and love the look of an old seamaster. Also looking to get one for my wedding next year. I've seen one for sale but just wanted to get the opinion from people to see if it's fake or not. I don't have a picture of the movement unfortunately. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bad fake I'm afraid.
I bought one just like that some years ago during a rum fuelled eBay session, it was 1 minute to go and I didn't check it too closely as I was bidding on another nice Genève at the time.

After that I subscribed to a sniping service.

ok thanks for saving me haha. Think I might just stick to Chrono24, hopefully there's more chance of not finding a fake on there. What are the tell tale signs of seeing a fake?

There are many signs. Knowing them is something you learn over time by studying various watches and identifying fakes.

Many years ago when i start to collect Omega i also bought this fake type..😀..as a rule Omega never put that triangle logo on the outside of the case back and i think i never seen an "Antimagnetic" Omega dial..

I vote real, Ive seen some with that glossy leather look- if it was never worn and kept in package in a drawer could look this good. Also that taper looks vintage to me. But they are usually quite stiff and brittle, and often smell like an old moldy football.
