I found this Alpine Competition Sea Strong at my local jeweler. I only have this one picture. Clock is working. I've tried tried doing some search on the internet, but almost nothing comes up. Only and few comes up where people describes them as "very rare" (of course, as many sellers write).
He's asking 1500€, not sure if this price is totally of?
I don't know much about the watch, except it is in working condition.
Please let now you if know something about this watch:)

    Regards Kristian

I am not familiar with the watch in question but as you probably already know, "very rare" doesn't necessarily mean "very desirable" or expensive.

I hope someone more familiar with this piece will chime in and help in the evaluation.

From a purely personal stand point, I would say there is a extra zero or two at the end for it to be desirable for me.

Alpina, not Alpine. Lemania 5100 movement. Alpina was a decent brand in prior times, but this is not from their golden era, to say the least. The asking price is double what I would pay, but admittedly the watch is not appealing to me.
