Joining in with the f300Hz love in!

Here's a couple of mine that I picked up in early collecting days, and moved along in favour of other things - if you've been around a while, you might remember @cristos71 talking me out of a redial.

I was slightly less old, and slightly more foolish then. ::facepalm1::

One of those "other things" was this Speedsonic - bought non running from the original owner, it was brought back to life by Electric Watches in 2016... it needed a lot of parts, and has recently decided to stop working... so either I've been fitting dud batteries, or something has gone pop - either way, can't wait to have this back up and running, and on my wrist!

Having fallen in and out of love with C-Cased Constellations, which just don't seem to fit right on my wrist, I'd been keeping an eye open for the larger cased, and much more chunky 198.002 f300Hz Constellation. This one showed up on German eBay last week, and landed with me in London today. Very, very happy. 🥰

You guys have got some really clean examples; you're to be congratulated on watches to be admired.
I flip in and out of enjoying my hummers, it's purely a size thing.
I enjoy their variety, of course I love the smooth sweeper movement and I love to position them to resonate through the furniture.

I’m in awe of some of your collections but nice to see I’m not the only one who thinks there’s great value in collecting the hummers. I doubt I’ll get to all 90 Omega cases that Archer mentioned (wrong tax bracket) but slowly it will come together.
A couple attached; Omega, Eterna, Spaceview (since sold) and a recently bought Citizen cosmotron GX (probably the rarest of them all).

If you are interested I know a watchmaker in Austria who has a lot of spare parts for the hummers. PM me.

Best regards Max
Can you email me a link for this person please.I have an f300 with an asymmetric case. Could also use a spare bracelet if you have any contacts? Derek

@Pianotuna The Cosmotron GX is a cool watch. I had one for a while. As far as rarity goes, I think my Tianjin inspired by the 214 movement might just be the rarest since it isn't a 1 for 1 copy like the slava and definitely not licensed by Bulova. It was a pretty good attempt at cloning the movement but there are subtle differences. More pictures here.

I had a read through your articles on the Tianjin, great story. Definitely rare and obviously the GX doesn’t fall into that extremely rare category your Dian ze biao does but hanging around waiting for one to come up is still a trial of patience.

My two Citizen Cosmotron GX I sold:
Tidy GX’s. Mine is in nice shape and I’ll upgrade if I find a better example, but I expect that to take a while. Your Tian Jin on the other hand, I might never see another one so thanks for posting and showing it off.
