·Small update, got the 390 - tested on 3 300hz's, none of them worked, it's likely that all of the watches were duds, but my dad warned me about something resembling different batteries having different impedance etc. - so I'm still keeping 1% hope
As a small bit of information, one of the watches came with a depleted SR43SW inside, so take it either as a warning or a possible compatibility
The 389 that is the high drain version, seems to be regular AG10 sized too - but from the lack of mention of any compatibility online, I do wonder whether they are compatible and what's so special about the 344/350's
Edit: Definitive, watches humm, tested with an outside supply, but the Renata 390 just isn't compatible even though it's full
