I ordered an extract in Dec 2012, and their email said it would be sent out within 2 (not 4) weeks. Nonetheless, it took almost 5 weeks for it to arrive, but no big deal... I wasn't in a rush. Think of it as an unexpected surprise when you've forgotten about it, and you open your mailbox to find a big envelope from Omega!

You will get it. Some times I receive mine within a few days, other times it took a couple of weeks. It is not a big team in their archives and they are quite busy in fact (I've been there a couple of times and met with the guy in charge a few times as well). The same team that visited our Speedy Tuesday Event last October, so they tend to do more than only spitting out extracts 😀

I have no problem if it takes 4-6-8 weeks, but I do feel that a courtesy reply to my emails would be in order.
Call me old fashioned, but good manners cost nothing?

I ordered it from the website "order form" on 29.01. Confirmed delivery as follows:
"The extract you ordered will be sent within four weeks to the address you provided:"
So come end of February and I will be a more frequent visitor to the mailbox.
Extract arrived. 4-weeks after like promised.

This "new process". . .will it actually provide more meaningful information? Nice paper is fine, but the current extracts actually seem to provide a disappointingly low level of information.

I understand that you can only extract the information that was originally logged. . .and perhaps the issue is Omega not being clear up front on the scope of information provided by an extract, but most of the fields in the current form on my extracts simply were marked "N/A" or "not mentioned". And I'm talking about basic information, such as case material, bracelet/strap, etc.

This "new process". . .will it actually provide more meaningful information? Nice paper is fine, but the current extracts actually seem to provide a disappointingly low level of information. For example, most of the fields in the form simply were marked "N/A" or "not mentioned". Some don't even specify production date or initial point of delivery.
The only change I have noticed from the old extracts is that the packaging has a lower standard than before! 🙁
But then again it may be that the new processes are not fully operational yet?
The only N/A fields in my 105.003 extract was "bracelet" and "case number". Neither is valid for these models. The rest was all to my satisfaction!
