Just a note / update -- I finally updated the site to include the dial catalogue --> explorer1016.com/dial-catalogue

I'm still looking for a higher resolution versions of a few that I don't have ready access to (Mark 4 and 5 matte dials) if anyone has those and would be able to help. Cheers and Happy Easter & Passover weekend for those who celebrate.

17th February 1952 ... 70 years ago !
Six decades ago, British ex-Naval Intelligence Officer, journalist & author Ian Fleming started type-writing the very first James Bond spy novel " Casino Royale " at his desk in his Goldeneye villa near Oracabessa Bay in Jamaica.
At fleming's wrist a late 1960 gilt dial Rolex Explorer 1016 ...
Setting out to create "the spy story to end all spy stories".
