Was this you? Guess I should know I’m going too far when strangers stare........ Keeping my Sparkle on as my new daily-beater but wanting to recharge my Seiko Kinetic to its max theoretical 6 month charge, so wearing both currently. Getting a few funny looks whilst in stores, etc. Apart from one guy, who just knowingly nodded, so if that was you...... thanks for not doubting my sanity, too much!
To agitate my my pals I sometimes wear a Garmin on my right wrist with my real watch on the left. For maximum effect, try it with a short sleeved shirt.
@Mad Dog is familiar with these funny looks as his wrists are often seen on double-duty. His "I-don't-give-a-rat-@$$" attitude regarding what others think is what should really matter to the wearer in this case
I do this a couple times a month. No one ever questions me or even seems to notice. Maybe I'm so well respected and important that they look the other way, as in the Emperor's New Clothes. Or maybe my friends/family are watch-blind.
People are giving you funny looks because you wear 2 watches? Hard to imagine anybody would care about that.
Mostly, I wear two watches. Nobody ever notices, particularly at CNIB (or the USA equivalent) meetings.
Once whilst wearing my Seamaster 300 (daily wear for many years), my then GF asked me to bring her Apple watch along to the dinner I was meeting her at. So being me, I strapped it to my other wrist so I wouldn't forget it. And then when pulling out my wallet to pay for something along the way, pulled out a pocket watch I'd forgotten to put back in my desk earlier...THAT one got me some odd looks...
