So was doing a bit of research on another watch to see how much I paid for it. In the conversation was this watch that I asked about a few months later after being told about it in the first purchase. Wired the money before I had even seen the watch. This was what I had bought This was the package thrown in as a present Edit: was from a member I had dealt with several times
When you know, …have dealt with before,… and trust the Seller There’s no question, I would happily make a purchase…sight unseen Always…Buy the Seller …it very rarely rebounds on you
Came from a member that used to change straps daily to match he’s belt and shoes This one that didn’t fit, So I sent it for free to another member who was looking for a smaller strap for his wife.
Evidently my level of trust is higher, than yours… It is a calculated risk based on the Sellers integrity, profile, and transparency The final decision, is always in the little details…or lack of them Imagery sometimes means very little,…it’s very nature, of a two dimensional representation,…masks many inconsistencies Until you actually hold the watch in your hand…and compare it, to other examples…all bets are off I can certainly think of a well known European Dealer, with strong imagery…who rings very big alarm bells, with me
Fortune favours the brave As @ICONO mentioned sort of, I wouldn’t do it with a race to 200 posts seller. This forum used to be a great place where members swapped and sent watches for someone to wear or look at before purchasing.
I have done the same for some members here. I trust their word and i also know if there’s a problem I’ll get the money back and he/ she the watch. it’s not blind trust, it’s earned trust.
