Neither am I. That only leaves one of us. 😀

I let you decide who's who ?

Don't suppose anyone has a dial like this in better condition? It's 31mm Iirc and it was my grandads. I'd keep the original but I think it's too knackered to put back in. It's got the 1416u automatic in it. Case is good. Movement is semi apart as the setting lever snapped but looks great otherwise.

Watches are back from the Spa, so I can finally provide some pictures 😀

I am pleased to announce my 38th ever Eterna purchase 😀
Upon visiting Ebay, there it was, at the top. Algorithms aren't always bad, heh..

Unsurprisingly, after collecting for years, including a period of time of being quite focused on this brand, I have encountered a lot of Eternas both online and physically. But I don't think that I've ever seen a black dial like this, certainly not featuring those uncommon coffin markers.

Here's a partial picture of the back that was featured in the listing. The lack of a medallion means it must be a relatively early example. The recessed crown seems snug and it has no logo, so it's probably original.

The back fits snug as well which led me to conclude this must be all original. I was quick to put in an offer and it was accepted.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this one.

An absolute stunner and great find. Early medallion, no date, those markers..
Congrats!
