This is not authentic in my opinion.
1) the gold stamp is on the outside of the case back;
2) case back and rear lug gold tone seem vastly different;
3) serial no. traces back to 1913.The Centenaire models were released by 1956.

1- French case, does not apply.
2- Reflections.
3- Serial number is on the movement, not case back.

Watch looks fine.

Pics aren’t great unfortunately

The parts and pieces look legit to me, but I'm suspicious of a non-Centenaire dial in a Centenaire case. To be clear, I'm not intimately familiar with these French-cased examples. It just seems strange, and it would make the watch less desirable for me.

I recently took reception of this very nice "Les Historiques" 1935. Now off for servicing,

Mine has a presentation back and special medallion:

Take care,

I assume it is not an aluminum case 😉

Shame that the company that built the houses that came to underpin the Swiss watch industry with movements when inhouse was rare should somehow not be seen for its significance.

The change to Chinese ownership is an interesting development as PD was clearly doing the brand no favors. It appears to have created an interesting opportunity too, as the new guard clears the shelves of these http://www.ablogtowatch.com/eterna-madison-watch-with-new-calibre-3505-spherodrive-movement/ at deep discounts.
Top left with power reserve (?), what’s the ref number for it ? 🥰

Let me add this one, a linen dialed 3000...and to bump this great thread.

That’s what I’m talking about! I love clean dials, and those numbers are the cherry on top for me.

Great looking watch, I’m always on the look out for anything like your watch.

Almost forgot about this thread. Lots of beauties thus far, but not so many early bumpers. These pre-full rotor (i.e. "Eterna-Matic") dials had "automatic" printed on them:

I usually don’t like dials with all numbers, makes me think of a Timex.

But I’m digging the black dial!

Congrats!

May as well add to this wonderful thread. Just purchased this Eterna-Matic 1000 tonight off the local auction site.

Unfortunately only auction photos until the watch arrives.

So this one is way pre Eterna-Matic but I figured it's worth a share anyhow.
It dates to 1937 and features a stainless steel case along with blued hands. I can't say this example is pristine but considering the price I am extremely happy with it.

what's the size on this one?
Lug to lug length 39mm.
Lug width 19mm.
Case width (without crown) 23mm.
Height 6mm case and 1-2mm glass depending on the dome at any given point.
