Looks like a marriage of parts. A better one than some it’s true. A lot of these used to get produced in Ukraine. Not so many at present I would guess.

Complete fantasy watch utilizing an old Omega pocket watch movement, collector value zero. Certainly not an Omega.

I personally find it great to "revive" orphaned movements in this way and make them usable again. It also opens minds of younger people to the beauty of pocket watch movements.

Imo still an Omega. Nobody would say that a recased Bunn Special pocket watch is no longer an Illinois 😉

This kind of mariages is offered quite frequently on eBay or Catawiki, so you might look there for concluded sales for finding out what to pay.

Cheers, Bernhard

Certainly not an Omega.
Omega made the movement and dial and it’s not an Omega? 😕 Really?

It was common practice (at least in the U.S.) for people to purchase only the movement and the dial for pocket watches, then put them into the case of their choice, not necessarily made by the same company who made the watch.

I’m sure there’s a large gap between what a seller asks for these and what a collector would pay, but this is a modern version of what the average person did over 100 years ago.

Just don’t overpay.

There is no shock protection in these pocket watch movements. So while it is in a “modern” case, you’d need to be much more careful with it than a truly modern watch

I'm not a fan of large wrist watches, so most of these pocket watch to wrist watch conversions are not my cup of tea. I personally wouldn't buy it. If you cased a nice 6s movement or smaller in a wrist watch case, I might consider one.

Seems silly, but that a watch that is worth who's someone is willing to pay for.
It is a pocket watch converted to a wrist watch and I am guessing it is quite large.
You mostly find them in the east europe (don't know why).
From what I know and se, you could easily get 300€ plus for it. Maybe between 350€-450€.

I don’t see any harm really…….so long as someone doesn’t try to pass it off as the genuine article.
I kinda like it, but don’t consider it’s worth anything much.

If it's not real, it should have been. I like it!
