For half that, it would be a different story, of course.

He did say the dial was black. That's being somewhat honest.

The seller clearly states :
"As many watches serviced by Omega, the Dial and Hands were substituted by Omega service parts as you can see in the pictures"

Maybe he has edited the original listing, but that seems reasonably clear that the Dial and Hands have been replaced with service parts, and there is actually no mention of originality or whether it has been polished.. Compared to many listings, it seems pretty factual...

Just for clarification, I have no interest or connection with the seller or the watch.

He has edited the listing. When I looked at it earlier there was no mention of the dial being substituted. Guess he must look at OF.

Just for clarification, I also have no interest or connection with the seller or the watch...

Hi

WARNING!!!

I could be wrong but I'm 99.9% sure this is the same watch that I was looking to purchase last week from a guy who lives in Ecuador. When I look at all of the small imperfections on the bezel they are exactly the same. See my post on the forum here https://omegaforums.net/threads/help-needed-potential-purchase-of-ed-white-105-003-64.38232/

Either this person is using the pics to run a scam on you. Or they bought it from the guy in Ecuador off ebay for $3000 USD (which is what was offered to me) and somehow it was shipped very efficiently to Boca Raton. Now he's looking to flip it for some quick cash - which I don't have a problem with but just be warned.

I think it might be easier, to look at the movement number.... It does appear to be the same watch... ::stirthepot::

Well that make more sense than me doing my Columbo detective work

Since it's the same watch, I guess there is now a time warp available between Ecuador and Boca, nice to know for future travel plans.
