Don't know seller's reputation but normally I would consider ask the questions before buying an item (watch or not)... I pretty sure the "experts" here will probably demand some pictures in case you've got them. It is the only way ro know for sure...

Post photos of the watch you purchased if you want information about it. I don't see the relevance of any other previous purchase.

I agree re asking questions first. If the seller is offering fake goods then that won't matter much though, so I wanted to take a breath before sending money. The watch I bid on looked good to me in the photos provided (and it would not be one many would try to fake) but a separate quartz Tag seemed to have a dial that was off.

The seller refunded. I believe the GP is probably legit and it’s likely that any issues with other merchandise is not intentional or the result of some feud between sellers, but the Tiffany lamp dust up did give me pause. I should have scoured the internet better before pushing the button and avoided the headache for everyone.

So you returned a perfectly good watch because the seller previously sold something else that was questionable? IMO, that's taking "buy the seller" a bit too far. ::confused2::

Not exactly but honestly I would prefer to buy the seller.
I asked if he would allow a return if I got it and it was not as pictured. He preferred to relist, which I said was fine, so be on the lookout.

He was also selling a constellation with no bezel.. I told him he might want to list that detail in the description before it sold, you couldnt really tell in the pictures.
