I didn’t see this one and agree it’s relatively cheap for rose gold.
Can’t remember the last time one came up for sale tbh.

If the bracelet is also 18k, I'd be interested to know what the gold value alone might be...

Just looked at the listing: 95 grams, which includes the movement. Anyone know how much the movement weighs?

An 18k 7077 in full length is 57g IIRC.

Thanks. So that's roughly $4650 in gold value for the bracelet alone!

Plus another 30g for the case, dial and hands of the 2853 so another $2130 there. Total gold value at $6780, so a collector's premium of less than $3K.

Yeah. Talked to @cristos71 about it already, I missed the auction due to technical difficulties and a few days later I’m still kicking my own ass for it.

Total gold value at $6780,

Gosh didn’t realise how much gold has gone up, I think I paid less than that for my yellow gold stepped delux on 7912 bracelet. Which probably weighs more due to the bigger clasp.

Helluva deal, and especially if you believe, as I do, that gold value is virtually certain to increase further.

Nice Deluxe. Crazy with those gold prices - I might soon have a couple of movements available....😂

That's a beauty of a watch. I forgot how big the logos were on the gold 7077 clasps compared to the steel ones.

Maybe the lacquer discoloration had something to do with price?

Yes, you're probably right there.
