New addition to the family borrowing a bespoke strap from another watch
Looks pretty good but do you think traditional black strap, bracelet or something like this is the best fit?
Would appreciate your views
Cheers

That is stunning. The only other dial variant I’d be happy to add to my collection - love this one! Great catch.

I love that bespoke strap. Gets my vote! Who made it, if you don’t mind me asking?

166.039 from 1969, with cal 565 movment - someone appears to have gouged the dial somewhat but I put it in the "oh, you are awul, but I like you" category 😀

Here's another one of those with which @Roger F started this thread a while ago. A lovely oddball in my very Speedmaster-dominant collection. Leaves the rather silly question on the table; which reference is this 42mm hand-wound Dynamic with date?

I would say a 613 movement 136.0033 1968-1972 the ss bracelet (Clasp) should be marked 1153/138
Very nice piece. If you ever want to sell I’m your huckleberry.

You're spot-on, it is a 1153/138 bracelet. Thank you! I'll keep your DIBS in mind. 😉

Gold shell on steel case, the only one I’ve ever seen. On a ratty Corfam strap. I’d replace it, but I have a large wrist, and I don’t know a source for an extra long strap.

You could get it done by Andrea at MartuLeather .. I did and got a nice result .. of course you need to determine the exact measures ..
