Hi - new to this and very interested in the Dark Side of The Moon with a foldover clasp. Not easy to get to try one on right now, does anyone know if it would fit OK on a 19cm wrist?

    Thanks

I have a 16cm (flat) wrist and it works well. So i’m assuming 19cm wouldn’t be an issue at all!
Also in comparison to it’s steel counterparts of similar size, the black ceramic makes it look smaller on your wrist.

Thanks - is there 3cm of 'size' left in the strap?

I have the smaller strap. If i’m not mistaken Omega makes all of their straps in 3 different seizes (S/M/L). My dealer just ordered the smaller one and exchanged it at no cost. Check with yours to see if he’s willing to do the same. :)

Interesting, there is no option for different strap sizes on the Omega site. But if you had to get the smaller strap for a 16cm wrist then it sounds hopeful with the standard strap.

They do exist but I believe they can only be consulted on the omega extranet. But some of the members on the forum have access and might be able to give you the references and the dimensions.

Recently I contacted OMEGA by email about blue leather/rubber strap for my PO (39.5mm). I was also offered 3 sizes:

    Quote of their response:
"The mentioned strap is available in 3 different sizes:
    - ref. nr. 032RUZ005422 (length 12H: 95mm / length 6H: 100mm)
    - ref. nr. 032RUZ005448 (length 12H: 85mm / length 6H: 90mm)
    - ref. nr. 032RUZ005450 (length 12H: 115mm / length 6H: 120mm)"

    HTH.

It fits fine with the regular size strap on my 19cm wrist (7.5" ). No need for longer strap.

Great, thanks for confirming. I wanted to check as I read a comment that the strap was too small for a 20cm wrist.

I think it also depends how centred you want the clasp to be.
I have 18cm wrists and have custom straps at 100/95, basically same as the medium one.
The buckle bit itself is centred on my wrist so that the foldover follows the curve of my wrist instead of digging in.
You could maybe get away with either the M or L but could be that your perfect fit is somewhere in between.

Good point. I'm assuming that if there are different strap sizes the watch would come as standard with a medium. Also may now go for the Apollo 8 version (due to the reduced thickness) which doesn't have the clasp. But I would plan to have one fitted as i think the strap would last longer.

Thanks. I just ordered the Apollo 8 and will certainly investigate the clasp option once dealers/boutiques are open again here. I'm surprised you need a new strap too, but there may be other DSOTM strap options. Very excited to get it!
