Apollo 8 deployant clasp?

Does the Apollo 8 also come as a second variant with deployant clasp like DSOTM? If not, will the DSOTM ceramic deployant clasp fit the original Apollo 8 yellow/black strap or will the strap have to be replaced as well?

If it helps (because Omega seem to treat the deployant clasp for the Apollo 8 option as some kind of state secret), take the photos from the catalogue above into the boutique. You will need to replace the strap as well. it will cost a bit more than GBP 500 all in. I finally got mine last week, after a year of repeatedly asking and being told it didn't exist, and I'm delighted with it.

Cheers gentlemen, I am looking to purchase the watch but from what you shared it appears that the deployant clasp/strap are only available as a separate purchase and not as a different variant of the watch. Am I correct? So I have to purchase the watch with the pin buckle and then purchase the clasp/straps separately.

I believe so, but given what has recently been posted about getting a discount on the Apollo 8, why not try for a free pin strap and deployant with purchase?

I bought an original dsotm from an AD not so long ago. The one they had in stock didn’t come with the foldover clasp. But the AD was willing to keep the original strap and lock and just had to pay the difference. Might be worth discussing this approach with your AD before you buy the watch.
Good luck 😀
