DSOTM canvas strap, ceramic buckle removal????

Has anybody ever removed the buckle end of the standard strap that comes with the dark side of the moon? Mine recently broke after every day use for a couple years and I’m getting a new strap. There are options with and without buckles so I wanted to know how to properly remove the ceramic buckle if I intend on using it…

thanks for any input or advise!!

I guess you just remove it as any other buckle, using the spring bar tool. That strap looks like it self distracted

What happened to the tachymetre bezel? I thought the entire case incl the bezel was one hunk of ceramic. Curious to know how long you have owned the DSOTM and would you recommend it?

You are THE man! Do you have shaper photos of the watch? Any dent or scratches? What’s the story with bezel?

At this point, you can simply use a blade and cut the straps. No tool needed.

That watch has seen a lot of hard use in its young life. Curious, too, about the bezel.

Also curious about the bezel... This kinda puts the questions about durability to rest lol, that watch has been through quite a bit it seems.

No the bezel is separate like a normal Speedmaster. I am interested what the hell happened to this one - worn in a cement mixer, buried, bike crash?

This is a watch that has been WORN! Man is training for the Olympics with his DSOTM haha.

may be a good idea to invest in a couple different strap options. A company like HORUS can get you started
