The "personal name" displayed on this forum was simply reproduced from another forum, so it's hardly a privacy breach.

There were two "personal names" I could see in that post– one potential scammer and one person warning about a potential scam.

If the latter is the person who made a new account on OF to complain, they can rest assured we are not impugning their good name- in the slightest. And we agree with their judgment of the authenticity of the watch. If it was the former who joined us today, ::popcorn::.

    Addendum:
    I missed
    so more likely

I would value opinions on thIs 1967 De Ville which I am in the process of buying, just in case it is not what I think it is before I part with my cash. I am told it has not been polished and the dial is original.

Thanks for looking and helping out. 77A4404D-9C8D-4A26-BC09-532B97109722.jpeg 09EBAC74-5BBB-4A97-B130-155577585735.jpeg 66119FC5-0CAC-4AC0-8669-3BD6D744A9B2.jpeg 072D991B-67C3-400C-84CF-77D3E7B5F027.jpeg

Sorry still learning. I posted one in the vintage forums on Saturday but thought it was in the wrong place, perhaps I was right from the outset.
