Welcome to the group. This post is just for known fakes by people who have experience with them as a warning to others.
Start a new thread in the vintage forum and give pics and info there and I’m sure people can help you figure out what you have
Thanks
Will do

Hey guys I notice this thread gets a bit overloaded but I figure I’ll give it a try. An omega geneve just popped up for sale near me for 300 with unknown service history. I don’t doubt it’s authenticity but originality could be an issue. I did shoot him an unofficial offer of 275 to see where he is at. I’ll but up some pics. I have not seen the watch yet but the guy only lives about 15 miles from me. There is a pic of the back but I can’t get it to load. It’s stated as caliber 1481 I believe, that’s what the gentleman wrote anyway. I hope someone has some input I’ve seen omegas on this site go in the less than an hour and some looked absolutely terrible but people scoop them up like crazy. Oh sorry this could be in the wrong thread. Sorry about that I’ll look around and see where questions like this should go. I can delete and repost this if need be I just didn’t want to start a thread for one watch

Yes sir as you can see I mentioned that myself but to be honest I doubt it’s a fake but maybe there is enough wrong with it where it is. I already stated and apologized in my post stating I did not realize I made an error until after I posted it. I’m meeting the guy tomorrow so I’m a bit anxious but I’ll find the right place or make a thread. I’m still pretty new here learning my way around. Could you give me a hint of the proper place to put this?

Hi OF

I'm still trying to learn - to see the difference between af fake dial and bezel and the real thing.

The bezel on this one with DON looks correct to me, but the dial I'm not sure of. What do you guys think?

I think you should READ THE FU#*%ING TITLE OF THIS THREAD!

F*%#k me.......how hard is it to read stuff any more.
