Not a fake, but then it didn't come from Omega like this either, its a pocket-watch conversion.

Thanks for the reply. How would such a conversion work than? The internal mechanics are Omega you think as well as the housing, only they have been modified? Going by the serial number it should be from 1944. But all images I can find have the minute dial in the bottom of the main dial and not on the side.

You have to be really careful with these type of watches. Some are indeed original pocket watches converted to be worn on the wrist, usually by soldering on the band holder and it is a matter of taste whether you like them or not. But sometimes pocket watch movements are used to create fantasy type wrist watches that do not match any original design by Omega. If not expensive and you really like the look, no problem. But if expensive or for collecting purposes, run away fast and far.

Amazingly before I reported these two nasties, both had bids!

Can't help myself, if just one person comes here and sees the multitude of knock-off shit posted for sale on eBay and saves themselves from a bad purchase I've done my job.

BTW, both of the above watches have already been removed.

Sorry I took so long to reply Norm.

After seeing that last one I had to go and lie down, I was feeling quite faint

And the "day" wheel reads "day", which I suppose is always correct...

That's not a 320. The 320 is a column wheel chronograph whereas, I believe that to be a Lemania 1275 movement with an Omega chronograph bridge and a fake scratching on the balance cock.

You're right, the Omega symbol on that balance cock looks like a badly bent staple
