Super fishy SM 300 166.024 on ebay.

    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/401536914113

Fake bezel, fake dial, probably fake case too. And seller knows it:

“Got this watch from a collector that stated he purchased this watch a couple of years from a watchmaker friend who put it together for him from Australian omega parts, So not sure what parts are original to the watch”

    He probably meant Vietnamese

“ALSO: Please note that if you are not interested in buying I'm not interested in your comments, Please don't waste your time and mine”

Looks real to me but not something that I'd buy, I'd pick the previous generation 560 series movement

Hi, I came across this vintage Omega. I took pictures of the movement and face but I can't verify if it's authentic or not. There's barely and markings on the movement or inside the case.

Also the dial says chronographe suisse on the bottom. Kinda strange.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

The 563 is the US version with 17 jewels. This listing is showing 24 jewels. Also, I didn't think the 563 was chronometer certified.

It's not a fake, it's a franken. BIG difference! It's also probably a redial judging by the discolored date wheel but perfectly white dial.

I’d say this listing is in a gray area between fake and franken. The reason I say that is the dial and listing clearly indicate a chronometer movement when the movement isn’t a chronometer.
