Hello Everyone,

I am posting for some advice on buying an Omega watch. This is going to be a wedding present for my partner who has mentioned he wants an Omega Seamaster watch. Can you please let me know if these watches are real and not fake. I am waiting on a photo of the movement for the first watch. The second watch is not a Seamaster but I thought it was a beautiful watch and thought of getting him both. Spoiling him 😀.

Thank you for any and all help!

Complete fake. If you saw the first page, you'd know that watch has all the warning signs.

Very restrained D.

You are supposed to say:

"This thread is to show fake watches identified by qualified nerds, it's not for questions about your fuckin' Uncle's/Grandfather's/Cousin's/Step Mother's/Nephew's/Sister's/Auntie's/Ancestor's piece of crap that you got lumbered with instead of the vintage Aston Martin, read the title and create a new post under Vintage Omegas".

Couldn't have said it better.

Hello guys,

Planning on buying my 1st Omega. Seems like a Caliber 268 1960 model.

Trying to find additional info about this small star next to Omega on the dial, seems unusual, couldn't find anything related.

Not sure what to make of it.

Thanks in advance
Please read the the title of this thread, paying special attention to the last three words.

Found this one on ebay, going for £900 solid gold ladies Omega. The engraving on the movement is an absolute disgrace even for a faker.

Here is another one that I suspect to be fake due to the face and the spelling mistakes. Anyone got any other ideas about it?
