Looks OK to me. Not entirely sure about the hands but I would assume it's all good. We need a picture of the back and the movement...

Thank you! I just found it today and didn't want to get ripped off.
If you see an Omega with anti magnetic or a jewel count on the dial, pass.

exactly, moreover the poor finition of the inscriptions and of the applied logo should be a clue to consider

Hello, looks good to me. The movement and tha case number is correct. May be the dial is refinished (i am not sure), but to me it is a genuine Omega

Very nice clean dial.
TOO CLEAN!
Compare it to the dog of a movement. Rotor is loose and hitting the caseback etc etc.
Search Google for Omega 166.002 to see what other examples should look like.

Don't do it.

Hey, I just joined the forum and wanted to post my recently acquired seamaster 30. Its a 1962 cal. 286 reference 135.003. I was hoping if anyone would know if this dial is original or not as I'm not sure (collecting newbie). Any help would be appreciated!

2. Omega Geneve automatic, date (white background)
many thanks,
Andy

Hello and welcome. What has your research discovered? Have you found any issues/concerns?
Hint: it is worth closely looking at the movement on the 2nd watch. Does that look like other omega movements in geneve automatics? Or does it look different?

I think we should ask @Sgt_Bilko about that 1481 😉

My OCD meter went to 99 when I saw that.

Hi, I was hoping the knowledge of members in this forum could help me identify whether the movement and dial looks good. I am thinking of purchasing both watches. Any advice?

OK, they're both authentic.

Now do you know how big they are?
Have you Googled the Omega case numbers to see similar examples on the interwebs?
Can you see any problems with the watches?

And finally, one bit of critical information is the price, how much are they being offered for or are they in an auction?

More info given helps us to guide you.
