EBay listing as 145.022-69. ebay.com/itm/172472067085
Service or repainted dial. Serial number 24m which is too early for -69. Question is on the bezel. It looks like a DON. But somehow I am suspicious of the font. What you guys think?

There's a few threads on this one.. And yes, too good to be true.

Sorry, I can't find the 'a few threads on this one'. I went back 5 days of the discussions. Can you share? Thanks, Frank

Last year 😀. Wow. So at least buyers were able to return it.

Gonna start tagging these as California Special since the seller's accounts are always somewhere in CA. Should make these easier to search. I won't resurrect the old dead threads on these but going forward, seeing as these are clearly put together with the sole intent to deceive prospective buyers, we should link them together.

What a horrible watch! The pic below (cropped from the listing) shows the foil-like reflectance of the bezel, characteristic of these fakes.

It's an extremely rare dot over ninety and dot below 70...

Dare I say it: a prototype!
