i purchased this watch (haven’t received it yet) and so far I can’t find any info if it’s a real one or not, or any information on it. What’s the best way to go?

Hello @Vangoeva and welcome to the forum! We would need to see some well-lit, sharply-focused pictures of the inside case covers and the watch movement to tell you if it is a real one or not.

We cannot tell you much from the two pictures you have provided, other than to say the dial has the name of the retailer (Paul Caron) who sold the watch. His advertisement is shown above. The hands, dial, and case look consistent with, and similar to, pocket watches made in the 1920s-1940s. I think the dial is a painted metal dial rather than an enamel dial, thus perhaps dating the watch to the 1940s? but it's hard to say for sure based on those pictures. The style and font of the Omega logo suggest the 1930s. The outside caseback engraving looks worn, so the watch looks like it was well-used and cared for and, hopefully, regularly serviced

When you get the watch in hand, take some nice pictures of the inside and outside and post them here, and perhaps we can tell you more.
