HI

Recently bought this SM300 from 1969 and it should be all original, but better safe than sorry and you guys in here knows a bit or two more than me 😀 ... I know for obvious reasons that the hour hand is cracked but i will leave it as it is!

The caseback looks a bit new? and it still glows a bit in the dark but only in a minute or two... (i have tried to capture it in the last picture!)

Are you from Sweden 😀 ? Bought from a guy on klocksnakk... bought another from him and he seems like a good guy!

Sorry, I didn't mean I used to own it. I meant I'm sure I've seen it for sale previously. The loss of lume in the hour hand is quite unique.

It looks all correct albeit very clean and tidy (and has new spring bars). Have you cleaned it up or was it from a dealer?

There is a thread around here discussing the watch. Have a search and you will find it. I questioned some parts of the watch as the lume is strangely applied on the dial in some places.

But you will most likely get better and more educated info from more members here.

Just took of the bracelet for a cleaning and fitted some fat spring bars i had to go with a natostrap 😀

Here is a more exhanced picture of the lumen... don't exactly see what you are talking about the lumen being applied strangely!?

Here's my 1970 166.024 obviously with 166.073 hands. Yours looks very similar.
