Does the logo look odd?

Imo everything looks ok on this Constellation besides the logo. Am I the only one who thinks it should be 'beefier'?

Comments in general about this watch also welcome ! 😀

Beautiful watch!

As to the OP's question:

The Omega font on the dial does not bother me particularly, but there is a dark line on the top of the dial that points to the fact, that there might have been water damage at some point. It might not bother some people, but it would bother me!

There are many scratches on the crystal (I believe) and those bother me as well, but a new crystal should make things a lot better.

The crown also is very large and not the typical Constellation crown, which is much smaller and has "edges", which really integrate the general design of the case, which in this case does not look overpolished but also not perfect, but that huge crown bothers me the most, I have to say! 😟

Thanks for pointing these out!

I agree the wrong crown is the biggest issue here. If I end up buying this one I would definitely change the crown to an original one.

Honestly, my un-trained eye didn't even notice the dark line on top of the dial. I don't think it would bother me that much and knowing this watch has been professionally serviced I'm not worried 😀

How can you tell there are scratches on the crystal? To me, all of the imperfections seem to be on the dial (unfortunately).

Why is this one screw missing on so many vintage watches lately 😕

Hope this picture is before a service.

There is a screw missing which means the regulator is not in the middle like the below 2nd picture

I would ask for better pics without the glare - these pics make it look as though something odd going on with the indices.
Ask if the scratch between 8 & 5 is on the crystal or dial. ( on the dial would be deal breaker for me)
The movt is something of a multi coloured wonder - this might be because it was cleaned harshly or it has had a lot of parts replaced - my hunch is the latter.

decent case but has a few nicks and dings.
How desirable it is depends on price.

However, I can vouch that these dome dial doglegs look great on the wrist.
Much more restrained (and more versatile IMHO) than their blingy pie pan cousins.

Totally agree with everything here.

The scratch between 8-5 is on the dial unfortunately. Idk about the movement but it has been thru a bit of restoration so I also think it's the replaced parts. The price would be around 950€ so what would you do?

Also agree that this gives more of a cleaner and simpler look than the Pie pan! Exactly why I'm after this and not Pie pans 😀

At that price I’d be a strong pass.
You can still get really nice dome dial dogleg Connies at auction for less and for a little more you can buy them from a collector.
You just need patience.
