Does Omega have anything like the Tudor Ranger? But in 42mm?

Hello,

I am looking to add a non-diver to my small collection of Seamasters (300MC and Agua Terra GMT).

I really like the Tudor Ranger but not that it is 39mm.

The Ball Engineer III has the GMT feature, which is nice.

But, I would like to stay in the Swatch family, preferable the Omega branch.

Any make and model I should be looking at?

Thank you.

I think of the Railmaster as the field watch equivalent to the Ranger, but those are going to be similar sized as well. Maybe consider a GMT Worldtimer? They are 43mm with a smooth bezel which might be the thing you’re looking for to class up the aesthetics. But I can’t really tell what aspects of the Ranger you’re looking to replicate; just that you apparently don’t like that it’s 39mm for some reason.

If I am going to get my wife to sign off on the next purchase, I would like it not to look like the Seamasters. I don't mind another diver, but not wanting to fight the "That looks like all the others...."

The Railmaster the clean face I am looking for, but is listed as 40mm or 38mm.

The GMT Worldtimer is a bit too much, I would have a hard time seeing the actual time with my old eyes.

Get the old Heritage Ranger?
Or the Ginormous Railmaster from the 90's, its like 49mm, Ref 2806.52, IIRC.

Not 100% clear on what exactly you want.

Im looking for a modern clean face (ie Tudor Ranger / Ball Engineer).

Im also looking for something in the 42mm-44mm footprint.

Im looking for something in the Swatch family, preferably Omega....that being said, I would not be against IWC.

Here’s one: Hamilton Field Mechanical, 42mm. Hamilton is part of the Swatch Group. The 38mm version, which I own, is very popular. Also available with a white dial. $695.00

Great watch!

You’ll love it. They look great on a faded and weathered tan or khaki canvas strap - very “Desert Storm”.
