I have been trying to find out any information on this universal geneve I purchased in Germany 6 years ago and have come up with nothing.

Can anyone shed any light on it?

Dear OP - you might want to post this over on the dedicated UG sub forum to attract commentary from the experts there.

It is a reference 527600 ;-) Don't think there is much more to say about it

Just by the style of it, it looks like it’s from the 1970s.
Gold plated so less valuable than if it were all steel or solid gold as gold plating is fragile and wears off.

Mid to late 60s fashion watch. Not much collector value. Logo places it about there.

Have you tried to see if the current company has any extracts from the archives? I believe Bulova owned the company at one time perhaps they may have archives. Just a thought since the Universal company has a website https://universal.ch/.

Typical extract .. “yea it’s a UG” . Truth is the archives are either gone or in the hands of collectors in Italy and Switzerland.

Thanks for adding this information. It's too bad, we have lost information, because Universal Geneve was on par with any Swiss Watch maker before the quartz crisis.
