Could this be an early 20/30s omega ?
Or a different make. If anyone knows anything would be much appreciated its stamped 925 silver X V ?

Sometimes the signature is under the dial.

Omega plates also have a distinctive pattern. This looks more like a generic swiss movement what I call a cross bar layout. I have a small box of these.

If anything this looks like an early Rolex knockoff. Not a bad watch for the era.
