Does Anyone Know How Many Speedmaster Ultraman 145.012-67 were produced?

Topic comparable to the similar questions about the "Straight Writing" and "Transitional" Speedmaster chronograph...
.
Thought it would be even more interesting to ask the same question for the 1967 Omega Speedmaster 145.012-67 Ultraman
Considering we 100% know that already half-a-dozen (of allegedly only 50 produced) Speedmaster 145.012-67 Ultraman show up in the 1968 SF movie “Marooned The Saga Of Ironman One”. So were these easily available and chosen to look matching with the red helmet and red accents on the astronauts’ space suits?
Especially in a time when product placement wasn’t a thing yet… compared to Omega's involvement in the more recent movies:
“The Right Stuff” (1983), “Apollo 13” (1995), “First man” (2018), “Moonfall” (2022) and “Ultraman Omega” (2025).
It would be interesting to know how many Speedmaster Ultraman were used during the making of the late 1960s Japanese Ultra Series “Ultraman” Tsuburaya productions!
From a visit to Omega HQ I remember that in the late 1960s the brand was not contacted by either US or Japanese movie production houses.

In Ultraman Seven, the Omega Speedmaster ST105.003 frequently appears as the standard equipment of the Ultra Guard.
According to this website, Omega contacted Tsuburaya Productions regarding the Speedmasters featured in the Ultraman series. It is mentioned that in Ultraman Seven, a single ST105.003 was used repeatedly on screen.

As for the ST145.012 in The Return of Ultraman, the above article does not provide specific information. Of course, at least one was definitely used… but I wonder how many in total. Maybe it was just the one 🤔.

“Ultraman Omega” (2025).
Ultraman Omega is an Ultraman who carries the red cosmic boomerang, the "Omega Slugger," as his symbol, and is named "Omega," meaning "ultimate." Just to clarify, he’s not related to the Omega watch brand at all.

I wish this watch was nicknamed the “McGarrett” or the “Speedy Five-O” Steve clearly rocking an orange hand!

Steve just exudes coolness😎

We all like the subtlety of a reddish chronograph hand in a Speedmaster...

These two watches are most likely the same piece, judging from the scratches and paint wear on the bezels. Therefore, when counting, please do not treat them as two separate watches.
Thanks. The pictures are two views of the same watch. I've edited the photo to only show one watch to avoid future confusion. Thanks for the feedback.

My apologies for the confusion - what I meant is that the photo of the decimal bezel Speedmaster I posted, the one with “1968” in the background, and the photo of the watch you posted might actually show the same individual piece.

After the discovery of CK2915 counterfeits, the reliability of the archives has been somewhat in question. However, the notes do mention the orange chronograph hand.

Ahh. I'm a simple man. 😁

Thanks for the explanation.

Very interesting replies in this topic... all I can add was contacting Speedmaster101 asking him to make a dedicated "tooth pick" video on his two Speedmaster Ultraman chronographs, of which one is a bit of a self-made (although that one looks amazing, being shown in a YouTube video entitled: "Three Unusual Omega Speedmasters").
Fingers crossed he will enlighten us with another educational video 👍
Enjoyed rewatching the SF movie "Marooned" noting the Speedmaster Ultraman Speedies, dug up my old movie booklet making a photo of an Omega Speedmaster 145.012-67, which is after all the most common 1960s "321 movement" Speedmaster but adding the reddish chronograph hand really was a master stroke !!!
Fun fact: it would be amazing to find out where the 6 Ultraman Speedies used in the movie "Marooned" ended up ! 😲
