I think the most important/useful info to come out of this thread : @oddboy used one of the rarest subreferences of speedmasters to make a franken of the first subreference of speedmaster 馃槻

(That's an ace move, well done!)

I couldn't think of a better way to store the 105.003 dial...

There seems to be some work in progress on that topic @nerdbedusa 馃榾

A bit of patience and you might get what you鈥檙e looking for.

In the meantime, have you checked usual ref books like MoonwatchOnly or the Ultimate Speedmaster Exhibition for example? 馃槈

The bezel of that 2915 is fake.

There are lots of wrong points. But looking at the 'BASE' is sufficient.

That's a statement.
For a statement to be understood and shared with other people you expect arguments.
I am no expert in 2915 but am happy to learn as much as many other members and I will do my best to help others interested in 105.012 or 145.012 I know better.
That's the principle of a community. Either you have nothing to say and to bring to the table (and to be honest that's often my case) and then you read silently or you want to participate and then you bring something. It's simple isn't it?

Ok, do you have or know a picture of a good one?

I guess that the watch sold by Bukowskis had an original first generation bezel. But it was pretty worn.

Yes. Very simple.

I had asked a question and have been asked lots of questions in return, without getting corresponding answers or information.

I think I get it, and allow me to answer 'does anybody know how 2915 bezels really looked like?' : you know. You are the answer to your own question.

Case closed.
Thread over.

Well, you also need to consider that only an handful of people can answer your question due the rarity of the 2915....

Yes. And this is where I think some of these people might be. Where else?

Maybe, I am not sure what you are asking if you know more than everybody else

Well, concerning my thread, there have been a lot of critical statements here.

I understand I maybe overestimated the competence of this forum.

I apologize for bringing in stupid ideas and promise I won't do that in the future.
