I'd answer you but I'm too busy giving wealth signals to people on the yacht beside me...

😉
If I won the powerball absolutely I would have one.

Actually in my opinion there are more Rolex owners that are afraid to wear their watches than RM owners that sport theirs without caring.
If you can afford to buy a RM you would probably also wear it: they are not the investment/ "I hope I can sell it an make some money on it" kind of watches.
And if you have to ask, it means you can't afford it!
Jokes apart, RM have a big fan base that is really happy to pay!

No product is ever priced at its manufacturing value, that would not be a good business plan. This is the same wether you’re buying a Rolex, an Omega, Seiko or Casio. Or a car, or a jacket. Prada makes their clothes at the same factory H&M does ( or close by 😀)
Believe it or not many Chinese made goods are sold under manufactured cost sometimes under the price of materials made to use them.

A guy at my country club just bought one. Heard him say he paid $160k. I do not have that kind of cheddar, but if I did, I doubt I would spend it on an RM. I just don't think they will age well. But I could absolutely be wrong.

I would guess that the impacts on the watch are harder playing tennis or golf (if you wear the watch on your hitting hand) than playing football. By the way, are you allowed to wear a watch during a football match?

Richard Mille is another one that they love to copy in China.

ive never heard anything about that rule, I’ll look it up. You have time clocks and communication all over so I see little need. With the hits these guys take it doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense but if they were to ruin one buying another the next day wouldn’t be an issue. I would think you would want a Vostok on the football field
