Does a watch like this instantly turn you off or can you dig it

Damn! Sold out.

The Poljot 3133 movement even had space connections (sort of), having come after the 3017 that was in the Strela and Sekondas that were worn by the military during the 60's. These later 3133' were supposedly worn by cosmonauts in the 70's.

Bummer it's sold, but I have no will power and just saved what, 2500 usd.

Great watch though. Nice break from DON vs DNN typical excitement.

Rabbit hole.

Two movements! That's a new way to do a GMT. (Service costs be damned.)

Like the look. Kind of big though.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" as the old proverb goes, I'm not sure I could deal with those mad eyes looking at me first thing in the morning so not for me but no doubt others will love it.

There was a time in my life, when I was young, brash and very, very high, that would have been the perfect watch.

I would rock that watch, but I wouldn't pay much for it.

exactly. If it was priced at the level of a Swatch watch, I could see having one for a bit of color if I wanted to show off from time to time. But at the list price, instant turn off.

Not my thing. If someone else likes it, more power to them.

I pass on any watch that makes it hard to tell what time it is.
That’s what cell phone is for. Ha

It’s like a breath of fresh (and magic-mushroom-y) air. Me = like 👍

The question is : for how long.

That's quite a large spoon of marmite there. Not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal.

Not to be pedantic, but only to riff: it’s not new at all! There are hundreds of “dual” time watches that have taken this approach, from low to high horology, lady’s to men’s, and all in between.

And it doesn’t stop at just two movements 😁

I like it, but then I'm a fan of his designs and even like the Deep Ding which seems to be pretty much hated by the majority of folk.

I own a couple of his watches and find the designs in general refreshing in an age of "me too" watch design.
