I'm sure it's a fake but what would be the reason for the " NOT FOR SALE" on the case?
It's like a franken of 3 or 4 different models??

I have never seen that horrible fake before. The not for sale must be to help sell them to the unsuspecting.

It's a bad fake at that. There are some these days that replicate the look of the 8500 movement almost exactly, with the exception of the silicone spring and balance wheel. Who knows what motivates fakers to put stuff like "not for sale" on the case - make people think its a prototype?

The strap looks better than the watch.

You must not have seen many fakes then... honestly I've seen way worse. Obviously it falls apart under a loupe (like most fakes) but they seem to have gotten most of the details basically right except the movement. Which I suppose is pretty important when you have a sapphire caseback. Maybe counterfeiters should just stick to faking Rolexes! :p

It's similar to this one I saved pictures from on Craigslist about a year or so ago. It's not just the watch that's faked - box, hang tag, etc. as well. The strap and hardware on the one you've posted is better looking than what was on this one below, which is unfortunate. 00202_1UekztfvxcG_1200x900.jpg

Well that one's completely stuffed. They've gone and got the dial wrong (no 12 at 12) and the bezel is misaligned as well. It's already worse than the OP just based on that.

It's a.fake for sure, but it's replicating the Spectre LE so there isnt supposed to be a 12 at 12, which is correct.

I love how they even wrote "titanium" on the back of the lug.

Yeah, it’s laughable. I wouldn’t be to happy if I had the real #2280/7007 Spectre. Wait, correction, I would be happy to have it.

    You just can't fake a Co-Ax.

Huh, you're right. For some reason I didn't realize the Spectre LE didn't have the 12.

Sellers use it as a reason to pad their sales blurb.

"I was given this store demo by my friend who works in an Omega Boteek. They are only given to the stores for display but this one is too big for me etc etc etc"

They probably create the watch based on Google Images pics from Baselworld press photos, and the fact that they can't read English
