I see that your GF is already a master of the wristshot-with-feet-in-background photo.

No bare feet and you call it master?

My wife's girlfriend's partner wouldn't dare touch any of my watches.
The wife and her girlfriend makes it a triangle, and the girlfriend’s partner makes it.... a love square?

My wife wears some of my watches occasionally. The bad part is that if she founds a watch around the house she will take it without asking. She assumes that they are not “too valuable “if they they are laying aorund the house.

The other day, she came home from work wearing one of my 18k Connies and said : “This one looks good, can I have it as my daily watch”
Ghaaah...No! Give it back!!!!! :whipped:

Mrs. Darlinboy has the run of my stable, but prefers her more modern ones, and rarely takes advantage.

She does sometimes wear both a mechanical watch and her Apple watch, one on each wrist.

Mrs. noelekal is not into watches, however she allows me to indulge her with vintage women's models and will wear them. She borrowed a rose gold Glycine from the 1940s on a single occasions. She's not at all into large watches, preferring the teeny weenie watches of the 1940s-1960s.

Not unless I gift one to them. My sister is the only person I've given vintage watches to, a ladies Bulova and a 50's Benrus with fancy dial, she appreciates the older style mechanical watches. Any one else gets a modern quartz because they never grew up with mechanical watches.
I did give the neighbor's kid a low cost modern Chinese self winder to get him interested in mechanical time pieces. He's probably broken it already.

Look up "the four Sided Triangle" A really well done old B&W British sci fi film involving cloning.

I have a serial borrower in the house - her daily wearer is a pie pan Connie, office watch is vintage Reverso. Power watch when meeting with company lawyers are a Panerai and a Big Block Tudor on a bund strap.

My partner wears my vintage watches occasionally. She does have her own nice collection of vintage womens' watches, but I actually like it when she finds a watch from my collection to wear. It's like she has a part of me with her. (Cough cough so corny)

I will sometimes purloin her tank watches to wear, myself.

Beware with the GF liking your watches. It’s a ploy to get you married, then it’s “. Let’s get rid of all the watches to buy a house”. “No more watches if you want to have a baby”

I like your serial borrowers attitude. I feel I end up somewhere near this.

Had that idea too when saw her tank last time.
But I have to get it fixed first, as it was not running (facepalm).

I've given mine a vintage omega seamaster calendar from the late 50's, and my pre-moon caseback speedy will be going to my niece when she's old enough to appreciate it. Other than that, others are off limit, and she can appreciate that, i also think she would be too scared to damage one! muahahah!

My wife is a nurse and destroys watches. EVERY SINGLE watch of mine she has worn ends up broken or damaged, so that ended about 15yrs ago. For some reason though, she can't kill a Timex. A cheap plastic $20 watch. She's been wearing the same one for about 10yrs.

Just in case there are those who are too young to remember the commercials.
