Yes it's a french case. About the lugs. I don't thinks they've been very polished. See the eagle head on the right. rather visible.
My question is. How much would you pay for it? and don't reply : what you're willing to pay for it :whipped:

I don't think it has been polished hard - more like the sides of the lugs have been 'tidied up' for some reason

is it a gold dial? - hard to tell from the pics

French case

I seem to remember some 18k Connies not moving so quickly on OF last year and they weren't French
so around 2 - 2.5k perhaps?

A gold dial adds value certainly (not a lot but a very nice bonus)
I meant the Connies for sale were Swiss - which carry a premium over French or English gold cased Connies.
(Regardless that they are of equal weight and quality - but they are near facsimiles as msn pointed out)
