Hi all, I am trying to figure this watch out.I think it is from the late '30 earlier '40, but I'm not sure.
Need help and your expertise guys.

By that standard, did Zenith on their (far more expensive) El Primero? Just sayin'...

Also, I happen to believe that every aspect of these Stingray chronos were well designed and executed.

So the answer to the original question is a definate YES, particularly if it's a Stingray! Great trio of watches by the way. The collective noun for a group of stingrays is known as a 'fever of stingrays'.
