Do Seamasters 176.007 and 145.029 share the same case ?

Dear OF Members,

I need your help as I'm having a question that I believe only some of you can answer.
I've purchased from a fellow member here a very sweat Omega Seamaster 145.029. It's on its way.::psy::
I was looking for a specific bracelet : the omega 1170 with the 653 endlinks (I've put a WTB). This seems to be not so easy to find &/or could end up very expensive .

Watching for those I found that this same bracelet (with I think the same end links) goes on the Omega Seamaster 176.007 (also very very nice) model (I love those Omega blue dials).
AND I found that UncleSeiko was providing a nice bracelet (looking like the 1170) for the 176007 for a much more affordable price.
BUT reaching out to him he is unsure his bracelet could fit as he is unsure the 2 cases are alike.

SO ::rimshot::: does anyone here know if the case of a 145.029 is really similar to the case of a 176.007 ?
Do you think the UncleSeiko bracelet should fit my coming 145029 ?
I imagine that some of the OF community have both watches in their collection 馃槜

Thanks a lot for any help you could provide 馃榿

Pictures because we all love them :
The coming 145029 (without the bracelet) :

The same watch with the 1170 bracelet + 653 end links

and finally the 176.007 with the same bracelet

and here is the picture from UncleSeiko bracelet on a 176007

I tried it... and failed.
Close but not close enough !
The endlinks prepared by Uncleseiko to fit a 176.007 don't fit in the 145.029. Hence it should not be exact same case between the 2 models.

I know I'm talking to myself in this thread of mine 馃檮... but I thought I would close it by giving the answer to my own question if anyone wanted to try that in the future.

Just for the record, I tried this route too and failed. The Uncle Seiko President 176.007 endlinks don't fit with the 145.029 watch head.
Also tried this: I have the correct 653 end links and tried those with the bracelet. The result: close, but no cigar.

So I think with this watch, it has to be the original 1170/653 or nothing.
Attached a pic of my watch with 653 and UC bracelet, you can see that the middle part of the bracelet is too narrow. In original 1170 it's wider.

I've been told the 626 end links could also work. But I haven't tried.
Nice watch BTW 馃榾

Thanks! It's my favorite too at the moment, the dial is really clean and I love cushion/tonneau cases. I have an original 1170 bracelet on the way to me, so maybe soon the watch can have the bracelet it was meant to have.
