Do new watches settle down?

Just got a new Sub the weekend before last and it was -1 SPD. It's slowly speeding up to where I hacked it Tuesday night flying back from our daughter's Commencement ceremony (PhD, ME) and it's about a second behind. I suspect (hope) it will speed up past 0 to be a little fast. My Milgauss did the same thing.
