·Hi everyone,
i've got a 145.022-74 ST back from Service at Omega and they changed the movement holder ring and the dust cap to a complete new set. But i can't figure out why. So i compared the set with the old one (it came together with all the other changed parts in a bag) AND with a movement holder ring and dust cap, from my 145.022-69 ST. The holder ring from the '74 Speedy ist different to the '69 and to the replacement ring in height, but the '69 ring got different slots compared to the others. The ring/dust cap from the replacement and the '74 got the same height. Approx. 6.5mm. The set from the '69 is approx 7mm. Here are some Pictures. Sorry, a little bit confusing, but maybe someone can tell me, why they replaced the ring and cap in my '74 and why the old ring form the '74 got a different milled step, compared to the older and newer ring. 😀
