Have a chance to get my hands on this 18k gold Omega Deville, thinking its around the late 80s

Anything that stands out as a fake? Looks legit to me, but want to hear more opinions

(Pictures are real, again, the dealer that I go always take high-quality photos)

What are you worried about. If it is a dealer that you have already used before and you are happy with the service why ask. If it not legit you can always give it back.

I did not say I've used this dealer before, nor that was my question. I'm asking if this is real or not since I'm not really experience in this type of vintage omega watch. So any opnions on it would be greatly appreciated

the dealer that I go

Any reason why you would suspect the dealer to sell you a fake or your own opinion of any anomalies with the watch

No suspicious on the dealer, seems like a legit store to me, but you never know, I usually don't trust anyone, would just like some opinions on the pictures to see if any anomaly that I've might have missed stands out

You left out one of the most important photos, the back and even better the insides.

Here you go. Seems like legit to me, but not a 80s one, more a 90s one

These are overexposed photos usually designed to hide flaws. Not good photos to accurately assess watch condition. What is price- this is important detail.

Looks all ok to me.

The St. Bernard's dog hallmark was only introduced in 1995 so that means it has to have been manufactured after. So not late 80s.

If you Google the case reference number 196.7500, you’ll find the following information from Omega:

https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-seamaster-jubilee-ba-196-750-mz

The listing shows the movement as caliber 1430, not 1530. Not sure what the difference are.

However, there are sales listings showing this watch with the cal. 1530 movement.

https://e-v-w.com/products/omega-18k-solid-gold-ref-1967500-date-quartz-fully-serviced

Hope this helps,

This is a 196.7500, not a 196.750 (which is the seamaster jubilee). This is listed as a Omega Deville from the 90s, so the watch seems okay, but only the information that is from the 80s that is mislead

Thanks, I double checked the serial number engraved and it must been from 98.

I'm from Brazil, so prices are a bit different here since watch offers around here are incredible hard, especially from Omega and it's an overall diferent environment for watch collectors.

This costs me around 1.5k USD. I can easily flip it for 2k, 2.2k. But I'll keep this one for myself because the condition is great (even the bracelet is great, with gold clasps) and I was wanting a more vintage dress watch for myself

Looks legit, but not a desirable watch. The value will be closely tied to the price of gold, which is at a record high right now.

Because like I said, I'm from brazil, it's super hard to import watches here

If you could buy kindness, I would recommend that you do so. Instead of investing in golden watches.
