De Ville second sweep hand query

Hi there I have three Omega watches, among a variety of others. My name's Mel, I've lurked around this forum for a while and now have become a member.
I have an elderly De Ville automatic, day & date. (looks to be Seventies), that I use quite a bit, it took me a while to figure out how to set the date. I now know, thanks to searching this forum, that it's done by pulling and pushing (pumping) the winding crown, something I've never seen before but works well once you know about it.
My reason for this query is to find out if the centre sweep hand on this model is stoppable, nothing I do when setting the time will stop it. The only marking I can see on the back (non removable) is Tool 106.
I'll put up a photo if it helps as I'd be happy to hear from anyone who can give me any other information about this model.
Thank you, Mel.
UPDATE
I've now added a Photo, and would be pleased to have any information, date? model number? on this model, or the Constellation that's shown with it (it does have a stoppable seconds hand).

A stoppable seconds hand (AKA hacking movement) was not a feature of many manual wind Omegas. It is a feature on some other watches where a wire or brake is used to stop the balance wheel, others use a brake shoe on the "seconds wheel".

Unless you're synchronising your watch with your squad leader in order to ensure that all demolition charges blow up the enemy installations in a choreographed sequence to ensure total annihilation of their infrastructure, it doesn't really matter.

Thanks for the prompt reply, I've stopped all of the annihilation ambitions since I retired so I can live with that.

Can I assume that Tool 106 refers to a device used to remove the movement from the front of the watch?

Precisely. It's a crystal compression device that allows removal of the crystal, and correct placement of the original or a new crystal.
