De Ville prestige vs 1940s 2364 closer than I realised

Also seen the very latest De Ville version is even closer as the seconds track is like the 1940s 2364 and has the same hands.


I expect others had noticed, but it is surprising there is a passing reference to mid- century in the modern Omega materials but that is all. Honeycomb dial is different. I keep wondering why modern Omegas Of this type are Roman numeral only as I prefer Arabic alternates.
