I’m not familiar with “*.webp” picture format. But you can always take a screenshot with your phone and post from there.

Thanks for getting the image up!!! My question was about the layout of the case back. I have not been able to find an image of this particular one so I have begun to question authenticity. It is a "late night auction bid" that I made the other night. I figured the dial looked ok so I decided it might make a decent "cheapie project". I made a basic bid and went to bed. I woke up and in the light of day checked the shot of the back after winning and started to worry. I tried taking images off the computer screen but they are too grainy so I'll post when it arrives. Meanwhile any insights are as always appreciated!
Thanks again!!!

We’ll need something a little more in focus.

A dial shot would be helpful, too.

I'll post real shots when it arrives. I was worried by the text configuration outside the circle. Others I've seen seemed more spread out. It should be here in a couple of days, more then.

The Caseback markings are generally specific to the reference. So we need to see reference info inside caseback
If you peruse photos of various different references you will see a variety of Caseback styles. Some have hippocampus etched relatively lightly and others can be raised and more substantial see a few examples.
Seamaster 600 ref 136.011

Seamaster Deville. 166.020
Seamaster 14704-61 18kt

Thanks for the help! I was able to find images of the etched Hippocampus but the text outside about the "tool " number was always different. I'm not sure I'll be able to get the Ref. info as I don't have the tool to open from the front and my local watch guy might not but I'll check when it gets here. meanwhile I finally figured out how to web capture an image from the listing so here is one.

Thank you! That was fast. I didn't recognize the straight six digit format! No red flags other than condition? I was a little worried by the hard to see "T SWISS MADE T".

Here are a few shots after a quick clean and crystal polish...
The crystal has several stress fractures/cracks. Are replacements available?

I got some new lenses so I thought I'd post a few "real" photos I did testing them out. The last shot shows the stress crack in the crystal if you look closely near the center. It isn't the original crystal I believe as the insignis is missing, is that correct? Should I replace it when I do the service? Thanks as always!

In attempting to research the Ref. I notice that most I find were "Geneve's" rather than "De Ville's" although the dials seem the same. Can anyone tell me the difference? I've read that by 1967 Geneve was starting to denote a lower Priceline. Does that mean there was more attention given the assembly/movement?

Thanks for that! It's late but I think I may have figured out the Geneve vs De Ville question. Based on the information in the thread noted above I've learned that Seamaster and De Ville frontloading pieces were virtually identical in all respects and that at least some Seamaster references came in at least four different text/designation versions. The use of multiple names on like ref's seems to have been common practice in that era correct? All that said the De Ville designation seems (according to the thread) to have been a geographical/marketing thing at least back then. If I have that all right, I am assuming the Ref 136.019's with the "De Ville" designation were primarily marketed in North America and those with the "Geneve" designation were marketed in Europe and elsewhere. I may have it all or partially wrong so please correct me where I am! Thank you
