I live in Scotland in the UK, my local AD had one in stock, as per the photos I posted, and also managed to source one about 60 miles away.

Both ADs told me it was unusual to have them in stock, so maybe I just got lucky.

It's a lovely watch for sure, however in the flesh I wasn't feeling it and have plumped for a 14060 sub instead 馃榾

This model has recently caught my eye. Particularly the blue dial, fluted bezel on the jubilee bracelet.

I like the dressiness of it and, as I'm suited everyday, think it would suit my lifestyle well.

I'm guessing these are going to be a lot easier to pick up at the AD 'off the shelf'.

Any one own this model and provide any thoughts?

That exact configuration is that exact one that I like the most. Although I have to say I am stuck between stick and Roman Numeral dials. Very classy and dressy watches when on jubilee.

Have just bought a blue smooth on jubilee. I have 7 inch wrist and it looks perfectly in proportion in my opinion. Any smaller and it would be too small I think.

It is growing on me. The D41 on fluted bezel looks great (less so with the flat bezel for some reason). Dare I say that even the two-tone on Rolesor (rose gold) on the Oyster bracelet is growing on me? Yeah, I'm getting older, I guess 馃榾

I have about an 18cm wrist and feel the 41 works for me. If you want a Datejust. I have the blue dial with smooth bezel on an oyster to make it less dressy. I also don鈥檛 own a watch less than 38mm as i feel they look too small. I actually think the Datejust 41 is really just under 40mm. You really need to try it on....

It's a watch for all occasions and has a proper sports watch heritage as well.

I have a 6.75in/17.14 cm wrist, and the Datejust 41 fits perfectly fine when I tried it at my local AD.

Prefer the 41mm over the 36mm for sure. And prefer the incdicies on the 41 over the DJII; far more proportionate. Fluted bezel is growing on me. Would still go oyster bracelet.
But that tritium 14060 is the watch to have! Two liner... ugh. Love it. Good call 馃憤

I like the 36mm more than the 41mm TBH. sits better on my 6 inch wrist.

Stumbled onto this thread . I picked up a blue dial, fluted bezel about a month ago. After owning several Rolex sports watches, including SubC, bluesy and ex 1, for me the DJ41 is the perfect watch. Proportions on my 7ish inch wrist are just right. It wears smaller (more like a 39mm and very similar to how my Exp 1 felt on wrist), and can dress up or down. In fact, it goes great with jeans and t-shirt (which is my typical wardrobe these days!). Really can't say enough good things about this watch. Really glad I picked it up...it's a keeper!
