is it true that Omega is in the process of changing their corporate culture away from heavy retail discounts and the practice of dumping unsold inventories to the grey market?

if so, it will be a fascinating study in business branding and reputation.


It is true - and will create more exclusivity and the prices will stay high even in resale - however this will take time - it won't happen until all of the 'Jewelers' are phased out, which will take years....

But given the pieces, and novelties they are releasing, many people (myself included) will be recognizing the value, and be paying MSRP...

The prices of DSOTM increased to € 8900, and the Goodplanet will be sold for € 6000. I was told by the store manager that the guys in switzerland made some very little mistake with the currency.

The delivery of the DSOTM might Start in end of DEC.

I´m expecting delivery on Friday of a new PO Chrono, so it´d have to wait a while.
On the other hand, The Dark Side won´t be available for sale here in Sweden until after the new year.. ;-)

I think the new speed master darkside of the moon is a killer watch, I decided not to wait and pull the trigger on a regular co-axial speedie.

But if i were to buy a ceramic watch, the darkside would probably be it!
Hi Charlie here. I grew up in bay Village. I still wear my Indians gear outside Philadelphia where I live. I still get the comments of everything you can think of. Go Tribe!!

Just to re-post this. ( I tried on the dark side of the moon. It looks and feels like my PO liquid metal. the attention to detail is really what interested me. I actually took it in low light and high light to see the difference. Awesome in both! I think the squirrel got in my ear at night because I would love the 9300 speedmaster but I think buyer remorse would step in since I have the moonwatch. But that is an awesome too.

But I didn't expect this to happen so soon. Right now I don't have the chance to go there.

3 months wearing one of most sought new Omega is a very big plus. Or consider premium if you auction it. It is worth the hassle to go to "your" Omega boutique. Of course the next question....how bis is the hassle?

Well if that watch gets anywhere near T.O. shortly, I might have to move my PO Titanium to get one. lol..

To get the DSOTM.
